The hotel room is spacious and clean. Value for money. Would strongly recommend my friend to stay there.
Would prefer shuttle bus from hotel to sheung wan ferry terminal (Macau)
No comments as I've only stayed for one night but overall I'm happy with the hotel facilities and services.
Comfortable room with a fridge. Supermarket on the premises. Public transportation at the door, in addition to the shuttle van to the airport and another to Kowloon.
The staff made unauthorized charges to my American Express account upon my arrival, without informing me. They are still "holding" these charges, without my permission. Consequently, I have had problems with my American Express account. This is unprecedented in my experience, and it is outrageous.
Swimming pool, and food
Transportation is not very convenance,. Locate in a very local resident area. Security is good.
Ginza is a nice and convenient area. about 45 minutes to TsimShaTsui during the day (0530 to midnight or so) is about 14 HKD with octopus card. A per-kilo laundry is available in the mall (second floor next to elevators in the same mall building as the Park N Shop is located). Hotel is also located next to (or 1 city block depending on which tower you are in) the bus depot where you can catch a bus to the airport. There is also a bus to Shenzhen Bay from here. CTS operates buses to Guangzhou from Yuen Long and Tuen Mun which are each two MTR stops from the hotel. We find the area quiet and pleasant for Hong Kong.
Most people going to Hong Kong will not like the distance getting to the traditional sites of Hong Kong such taking the Star Ferry, shopping in Mong Kok 'ladies market', TsimShaTsui [K11] and Central, the night life in Lan Kwai Fong and Wan Chai red-light-district.
We were upgraded cause the hotel was full
the staff very friendly and helpful, enviroment very good to relax.
The Harbour Plaza Resort City offers very good quality for the price, rooms are spacious (deluxe type); breakfast buffet is ok and offers for all tastes something; about 45 minutes from the city by bus or west rail.
The rooms are quite and clean and big the staff were nice but lack communication skills other than chinese languages
Great value for money -great service- lots of room in room compared to hong kong city areas- one hour out was ok by train- comparied to motels in city- great transport system in place- shopping centre's joined to both tower (motels) were great ( all you need was there) . Internet $9 hkd / hour (cheap). Laundry out of motel 4.5 kg = $60 hkd 2 hr sevrice at motel 24 hr service a bit dearer. food at motel resort was great- breakfast for under aud $10 was great - $69 hkd (good value) room have mirowave- stove tops but no plates etc but if you ask they will supply for you. ice is free by bucket not sure if safe to drink(most likely safe to drink). Did get sick due to cleaning teeth with local water early in stay. still had ice later.ok
Cooking fascilities no plates pots etc. just coffee cups & glasses. but no needed as food is cheap no required
I appreciated a lot the services and the kindness of the front desk and room service. They were really helpful and kind until the last day of our stay. The wonderful garden at the doorstep of the hotel is a place where millennial China encounters modernity. It was a pleasure talking to the old Chinese practicing Tai Chi or various exercises. And the location of the hotel is so very quiet and resting.
It is a bit far to reach (1 hr bus, 1/2 hr metro). It is at 50 kms of the center, thus better plan carefully your visit if you want to make the most of your time. One issue was that to use the kitchen, you had to pay a service charge on top of the price of the room. Staying at the hotel is also pleasant... I didn't have the credit card issues that some clients reported. Maybe that is because I took up direct contact with them and advised them I was coming in late. In any case, it is advisable to contact the hotel directly after reserving via Booked.net. From my experience, this makes things far easier in the relationship.
Clean, spacious and proper
The rooms are spacious, more like a studio apartment with stove, microwave, refrigerator, and sitting area. Very large rooms for Hong Kong. The decor was pleasant.
The bed was quite hard: not very comfortable. There was a charge of 120 Hong Kong dollars per day for internet. The airport shuttle was another 100 Hong Kong dollars. Not actually provided by the hotel as was implied by the description.
A good hotel for its price, quiet, calm area, next to the hotel are many shopping complexes. Who does not want to spend a lot of money on hotel and who is not afraid of the distance from tourist routes, can easily go to the hotel. Subway next to the hotel and get to any place not a problem. I was pleased.
Good location hotel , easy to find it , good breakfast .
Toilet in my room is broken and they come 1AM when I sleep . Uh....
